Thank you for coming to my site! I can’t believe you are here on the About page, woo hooo! I am so honored.

So what is this site about? Good question! And honestly this is a lot of pressure to answer haha!

There is always so much going on in my head at any given time so my “why” is all over the place but I’ll try to explain what this site is about in as much of a clear context that I can wrap my head around through this keyboard.

Matt Saffian – This is NOT AI is a collection of reflection and real world realizations (wow so many words that start with “R” haha) that combine aspects of growing up on “the streets” and learning from what some call the “School of Hard Knocks”.

Despite being crossfaded for about 20 years straight before going sober (recently as I’m writing this), there is a lot of psychological research, books and authors that I like to cross reference and gain insight from.

The #1 resource for this blog / site is going to be the Bible.

Yes, you read that right! THE HOLY BIBLE – my go to reference for all things in life and every message and post will always tie back to the Bible! Why? Because it’s more important and relevant than most know and that is what drives me and my writing everyday.

All of my writings are 100% written by me, with absolutely NO AI, or “artificial intelligence” in any way shape or form.

This is a WordPress site for a reason! I setup the hosting and domain myself with no AI. I’m old school and keeping it that way.

Everything here is Low / No budget haha but I promise I’m here to pack a punch. That’s to Satan of course, because if you’ve read this far you might be wondering what the heck is the point of my writings anyways ….. and that is this: I am working on a book! And yes, that book will be called, “This is NOT AI”

I’d say we are going to go through personal growth, trauma bonding and modern day application using the Bible. I’ll be using my own experiences as a bit of a framework, looking at worldly concepts that are prominent today, and most importantly: hopefully I can relate to real world people (aka – you)!

Yes, this isn’t some mega church priest. I am from the streets!

Previously living as a drug dealer / addict, alcoholic, strip club visiter, dive bar junkie, frequent flyer living in hostels, bender lifestyle psychopath with little to no morals whatsoever!

Times have changed and it’s time for me to put some stuff out there for those that are in the slums as well! (and for what it’s worth, I love the “slums” and grew up around some ghetto stuff…I’m literally writing this in my apartment that’s a part of Section 8 housing .. so you get the gist!)

I’m here to connect with people that need to be able to relate with someone on a deeper level and a zero filter / no nonsense approach. I always had a hard time relating to these preachers that seem to have a perfect silver platter life, and the church go-ers with their perfect Sunday outfits and brunch activities that get them back to their little perfect white picket fence house. Only to wake up on Monday and go back to their well paying job in a boring office, but bringing in the big bucks…

Fuck that! That’s not real life!

And I’ll say it here now because I will say it like it is: Viewer / Reader discretion is ADVISED.

This site isn’t for Conservative Christians with zero struggle and a support system.

I’m here to connect with the real ones, and I got you. I understand you. I’ve been on all the benders, potential OD’s, suicidal thoughts and tendencies and I have seen some SHIT.

Luckily I bring good news and my posts are supposed to shed some light so I hope you will read them 🙂

I am focused on devotionals (hopefully weekly, if I don’t get too stuck on working my dead end job – think of it like church!) as well as larger than life lessons with insight, research and Biblical tie backs.

I’m hoping to build a Youtube as well for these lessons, and like I mentioned before, I am working on a book to bring it all home!

I know, I know, I’m all over the place. But that’s ok, you only live once and it’s important to live your life to the fullest and know what the end game is! And spoiler alert, it’s looking up to sky and saying Hi G, what do you need from me?

And yes, I refer to God as “G” 🙂 He’s got me, he’s got you, all he needs is for you to say whattup ! And let the rest fall into place, just stay close to him. Not sure how? Well I have been working hard to figure that out myself and I’m going to do my best to simplify that for you.
